How to cancel QR Code Reader＊Barcode Scanner and get your money back

Step 1 — Stop the next charge
- On iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
- Select QR Code Reader＊Barcode Scanner → Cancel Subscription.
- Check that it now says Expires and not Renews. If it still says Renews, it is not canceled.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. This is the single most common reason people keep getting charged.

Do not download this. It’s a complete scam! They tell you you can cancel it anytime and you can have a three day trial, but they still charge you even if you try and cancel they sign you right up for a subscription and they charge you for the year anyway. Then you have to deal with going through Apple and having them reverse the charge. It’s a complete scam!
When you click on cancel it just takes you to the same page as the change subscription button. I can’t find a way to actually cancel it. It clearly says you can cancel anytime…..
If this app actually does work then it has a pretty strange way of showing it. The two barcodes I « scanned » resulted in ZERO. Of course, the app doesn’t offer much help in how to remedy such issues, no doubt because it’s too busy bombarding you with ads for, um… other scanner apps. My advice: AVOID THIS ONE LIKE THE PLAGUE (unless you enjoy being scammed instead of scanned!).

Can I get a refund after I already canceled QR Code Reader＊Barcode Scanner?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.
How long do I have to ask for a refund?

Apple declined my request. Is that the end?
No. A first decline is common and is often automated. You can submit the request again with more specific facts and ask for review by a senior advisor. If it is declined again, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.
