Step 1 — Stop the next charge
- On iPhone or iPad: Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions.
- Select Planner 5D: AI Home Design → Cancel Subscription.
- Check that it now says Expires and not Renews. If it still says Renews, it is not canceled.

I downloaded the app to try the AI features, but it wasn't able to create a floor plan from the one I provided. Unfortunately, I forgot to cancel my subscription, and they refused to issue a refund. Requires $20 on top of a $50 subscription just to scan your home. I immediately deleted the app and forgot about it. Accidentally didn’t cancel the free trial since I have 100 other things to worry about when purchasing a home. I can’t even leave a review on this app simply because I refuse to even try it after my initial set up. They start off asking/making you choose a plan before use. Can I get a refund after I already canceled Planner 5D: AI Home Design?
Yes. Canceling stops future renewals but does not refund a charge that already went through. You request that separately at reportaproblem.apple.com, and "I was charged after I canceled the subscription" is the reason to select.
How long do I have to ask for a refund?
Apple generally expects refund requests within 90 days of the charge. Ask as soon as you notice it — requests on recent charges are approved more often.
Apple declined my request. Is that the end?
No. A first decline is common and is often automated. You can submit the request again with more specific facts and ask for review by a senior advisor. If it is declined again, you can dispute the charge with your card issuer.
